As the title says I've finally got my new computer, so I can stop playing just a few shitty games and I can finally work with SFM without framerate issues, also I can use fucking shit AO and uberlights yay (I'm working on something btw, almost finished).
If anyone is interested, specs:
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G43
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k
RAM: 16GBs of HyperX Fury
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SuperClocked
PSU: Corsair CX600M
HDD: 500GB Seagate Barracuda (taken from an old pc, I'll buy a better one in the future, or an SSD, still not sure about it)
Case: Cooler Master K380

The CPU has a serious overheating issue at max clock speed so I had to downclock it to 2.9GHz until I buy a CPU cooler, but I'll probably wait for that, so yeah it's not working at max but it's still great.

In the last months I've had a very hard time trying to work with SFM, playing games and even surf the net because of some heavy CPU throttling (down to 800MHz, even less than my smartphone frequency)..
So basically every time I tried to do something in SFM I ended up quitting in like 10 minutes because of the very low framerate caused by throttling..
Yesterday I've decided to open up my laptop and I found out there was an almost 5mm thick wall of dust between the fan and cpu heatsink, which caused it to fail in correctly cooling down. That solved basically every problem, and now I can go back playing more games than just fucking League of Legends, and working with SFM of course, I just did a small poster to see if it would still throttle down, and it didn't.
Just wanted to make a journal to let anyone who might be interested to know :3
I'm starting to forget how to english lel

I don't know, I feel like writing a journal about this.. It's been bugging me in the last days.
It's one year I'm using Source Filmmaker. I don't really remember when, but the first image I made was rendered the 30th of November.
What's really bugging me is the fact that I haven't even made 20 posters/gifs with it in one damn year. And I don't feel happy about that..
My problem is high difficulty in finding ideas, and usually lack of motivation, especially during the last months. I guess the lack of motivation is what makes it hard to find ideas, since usually when I'm messing around with SFM, I find something cool and go like "I need to do something with this". Sometimes I need an external input instead.
Low motivation is the real problem though.. A lot of things are influencing that, mainly my whole feeling of unhappyness. School is becoming just a source of stress, all of my friends have a good computer except me, especially considering that I use hardware intensive software while they use them mainly for games. I would use it for gaming too if I had a good one of course, I love playing videogames (maybe a bit too much), but it's not funny working with very low framerate and even being unable to use some features because of incompatibility with the GPU, that's what most of the times bring me to just quit everything..

I really need to be motivated to overcome those problems and without ending up with a ragequit. An example is "I'll be there".
I've never been so motivated to work with SFM, it's been the first time I worked that hard on a project. I wanted it to be as good as I could make it, that's why it took me more than an hour just to fix small things. Most of the time was spent rendering of course, but I didn't care.. It was all about finishing it without visible problems in the image (mainly clipping and weird stuff or bone positions).
And it's all thanks to a conversation I had with  last week on Steam. That's what gave me the idea; and the meaning of the image, the message I wanted to give with it, that's what kept me motivated during the whole process. And it all started with one, simple question I asked myself: Why not?


Aaaanyway, depressed stuff aside, I was considering trying out taking requests, but I don't really know if I'm ready for such thing, considering how easily I completely ragequit on a project because of the problems I've already talked about.
Let's put it this way: if anyone who will ever read this is interested in a request, you can try and ask, but don't expect me to do it for sure. I sound like an asshole by saying that, but that's how things work for me, unfortunately.

I miss a bit my old school mates but I met some new nice friends.. Now one of them (his name is Matteo like mine lololol M&M's xDD) is borrowing me Soul Eater manga.. Anyway.. I started C programming.. That's quite fun.. Now I know just the easy things (for example simple calculations.. Monday I've got an oral test in literature D:
The last oral exam while the teacher was doing the test I and some of my friends played with UT2004 in LAN.. xDD
It's been so fucking funny..
Well..
Because I passed my exams my parents bought me a new monitor that's also a TV so I could bring my xbox360 in my bedroom
So when I'll have ADSL I'll be able to use Live
Now I'm thinking on a new drawing project.. I think it'll be quite hard to do but I'm thinking about trying it.. Unfortunately now that I started school I don't have a lot of time D:
